PodiumKid began with a simple observation: the fashion and modeling industry has many opportunities for adults, but children often receive far less dedicated attention. When we began exploring the world of modeling agencies, we noticed that many were primarily focused on adult talent — children were treated as a smaller part of the industry, rather than a unique category with their own needs, personalities, and potential. We believed there was another way. That idea became the beginning of PodiumKid.
Our journey started in London, one of the world's most influential fashion capitals and a city known for bringing together different cultures, creative communities, designers, and emerging talent. From the beginning, PodiumKid was created with a clear purpose — to give children an environment where they could explore modeling, fashion, creativity, and self-expression while being recognized for who they are.
We see children's modeling as more than simply walking on a runway or appearing in front of a camera. It can be an opportunity for children to develop confidence, communication, creativity, discipline, and the ability to express their personalities. That is why our approach focuses on the child first — encouraged, respected, and comfortable, with parents and guardians as an essential part of every journey.
What began with the idea of creating more opportunities for children in modeling grew into a broader international vision. From London to international fashion destinations such as Tokyo and beyond, we see fashion as a way to bring people together and introduce children to new creative experiences. Our events, showcases, and fashion projects are designed around one belief: young talent deserves a stage of its own.
